    Operating as Parcel Delivery for over 90 years, our medical courier business has evolved with all of the changes in transportation and technologies. When we were first located in the historic Cherry Street Alley as Parcel Delivery, local merchants relied on our business to deliver their products and purchases to their customers' homes. Operating in the central area of downtown and across the river to the more populated east side, horse-drawn wagons and bicycles were the modes of transportation. 


    In 2002, Parcel Delivery became STAT Medical of Georgia Inc., serving the state of Georgia as a distribution warehouse, medical courier, and medical services business.


    In 2006, STAT Medical of Georgia, Inc., began to provide transportation services to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Department for Human Health Services. As the project grew, STAT was positioned to provide leadership in the development of many protocols for the decontamination of medical products and items used in the recovery of disasters. 


    From these experiences, STAT realized the opportunity to utilize its newly developed medical courier services in the public arena. Our medical courier service is proud to offer a decontamination service through the use of a micro-diffuser that permeates an entire facility with an anti-microbial fog, creating a Shield of Protection for people exposed to the cross-contamination of personal and public spaces. ( Ex. exam rooms, surgical rooms, waiting rooms, daycare centers, schools, nursing facilities, and just about anywhere exposed to contaminants that make people sick.)
